Club Victoria has significantly increased its resources in Employment Relations by making the Employment Relations Service one of the largest and most experienced employment relations teams in Victoria. There will be greater access to experts at a time when members need it. The expanded Clubs Victoria team is supported by the strength of a teadelivering service to members.  The strengthened team improves member access to Employment Relations information and provides greater resources to answer memm of 35 people ber queries through the Telephone Advisory Service. The Clubs Victoria team is lead by highly specialised and experienced practitioners with an in-depth understanding of the workplace relations challenges faced by the Club Sector.

Campbell Fisher

Campbell is the Solicitor Director and Managing Partner of FCB and also the only Accredited Specialist in Employment and Industrial Law in both NSW and VIC. Campbell is the Chairman of Peopleinsite, an online employment records management company which is the enable HR program develoiped for Clubs Victoria.

Campbell offers Clubs Victoria high-level strategic advice across the full range of employment and industrial relations law and consulting issues. He has assisted many top performing Australian and international organisations to successfully introduce and manage major industrial change in a fashion that ensures legal compliance, while also representing best practice in Human Resource Management.

An experienced advocate and expert litigator in all Tribunals and Courts, Campbell has also assisted his clients to remain at the forefront of workplace bargaining initiatives for many years.

His key competencies include extensive experience advising in relation to:

  • Executive terminations and unfair contracts
  • Change management strategies
  • Employee relations strategies
  • Occupational health and safety

Campbell's advice is underpinned by a thorough understanding of the business and organisational drivers behind his clients needs. His ability to provide business-oriented solutions has in part been developed as a result of his holding the position of a Director of the Chandler Macleod Group, a national human resources and staffing services company for 5 years.

Prior to joining FCB, Campbell was Industrial Relations Manager for the Chamber of Manufactures of New South Wales (now NSW Business Chamber). Campbell also held corporate and line management positions in Industrial Relations with BHP.

 

 

Richard Breden 

Richard commenced employment with FCB Group in 1998, moving to Melbourne to start up the Melbourne practice in 2001 before furthering his studies in 2003.  Following the completion of a Masters of Business Administration, Richard held the position of Workplace Relations and Corporate Affairs Manager (Australia/New Zealand), for Manpower Services. Richard has also held Senior Management and Directorship positions in the Hospitality and IT industries respectively.

In 2006, Richard, together with the Partners of FCB founded a software business designed to support companies in the effective management of their HR & Legal responsibilities; for Clubs Victoria this has been developed into the enable HR program which is specifically structured for Victorian clubs. 

Richard has 12 years experience in diverse ranges of industrial and employee relations area, and has appeared in most State and Federal jurisdictions in Australia and New Zealand.

 

 

Nick Tindley

Nick is the Advisory Services Manager with FCB Group, and has over eight years experience providing industrial relations and employment law advice.  Nick started his journey in the employment law space providing advice and assistance to young people experiencing difficulties at work, through his role at the Young Workers' Advisory Service.  

He then spent over six years with the National Retail Association, including almost three years as Director of its Employment Law Division. During this time, Nick assisted a wide range of retail and hospitality businesses.

Nick has a wealth of experience advising businesses on a wide variety of employment issues, including:

  • General protections disputes
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Workplace Investigations
  • Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination

Chris Gianatti

Chris is a Partner and Solicitor with FCB.

He has 10 years' experience in Employment and Workplace Relations. He articled and spent his early years as a junior IR lawyer at Corrs - after which he joined Telstra's HR Legal Team for 4 years as HR Legal Counsel for the "Factory" (being Telstra's back of house operations covering among other functions the Field Technicians, Engineers, Delivery Management, Procurement, Vendor Management and Payroll). In this role he also provided high level legal support for Telstra's Corporate HR Specialists in Workplace Relations, Remuneration, Talent, CHSE and Corporate Security.

Chris' expertise spans the full range of Employment and Industrial Relations matters, including:

  • Strategic IR, Enterprise Bargaining and Major Industrial Disputes (including good faith bargaining and protected action litigation and picketing)
  • Corporate Change Management (with a particular focus on Corporate Restructuring, Outsourcing and Performance)

Charles Cameron

Charles has over 15 years experience in workplace relations and has developed extensive expertise in workplace policy and work safety. Charles has a background in industry representation, policy and consulting, including being the Founder and Managing Director of Stratecom, a specialist workplace relations consultancy firm founded in 1993.

Charles's key competencies include advising FCB's clients in relation to:

Amy Buckley

A member of the FCB Workplace Law, Employment Relations team Amy has been providing advice within FCBs Telephone Advisory Service for two years.  This advice to Clubs Vcitoria includes:

  • Advising on Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination
  • Ill and injured employees and workers’ compensation issues
  • Legislative and award compliance
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts
  • Conducting training seminars on Employment Relations issues
  • Policy review and implementation
